Spoke: A-Oh-Cake With Us!  Is ready for your enjoyment!  Please be sure to check out all the wonderful pieces we have up.  Soon we will have these for sale on our Etsy site so you can enjoy them in physical format as well. 

Be sure to start thinking about your submissions for our next issue.  We're pleased to announce that Spoke 4 will be themed: In Transit.  So get your best transportation pieces as soon as you can to us at submissions@spokeisneat.org.

Friday, March 16th, 2007 - Website Back Up!  Spoke Store is Open!

After a ridiculous weeklong fight with our old hosting service to get back online we switched hosting services and are back online!  They're resetting our domain so you might see some in and outs for a bit of service but in a couple of days we'll be good to go.  Thanks so much for your patience during this really frustrating time.  And please, never use authentic-hosting.com for your server needs.  I  beg of you.

In even GREATER news.  We now have our Spoke store online through etsy.com.  On it you can find the winter issue available for purchase as well as a year subscription for $25!  Check it out!

And don't forget-- get your minds geared towards cake for our spring issue!  Get your submissions in now!

Tuesday, March 6th, 2007 - Winter Issue Is Up!  Spring theme announced!

After digging ourselves out of a snow bank we finally made it with our second issue: Winter!  You can find its contents here on the website.  Check back in the coming days for a link to purchase your own copy through our fancy little etsy store.

Tuesday, November 28th, 2006 - Winter Issue Theme Announced!

Spoke is now accepting submissions for our next issue which is appropriately themed, "Winter."

Winter is a pretty great word and despite the cold and sometimes grey slushie snow we like the, well, winterness of the season, and we wanted to write and have you write about it.

So get to writing, creating, and recording pieces on Winter. Anything will work, so long as it is somehow rooted in or referencing to "Winter." We're accepting anything from poetry to short stories, vignettes to artwork, and MUSIC. Especially music. We're asking that preliminary submissions be in by DECEMBER 15th as we're shooting for a February release and need time to edit and all that.  Please send all submissions (or direct questions re: submissions) to -- submissions@spokeisneat.org.
